May 5, 2020: BAN Legal Alert – Agencies Extend Deadline to Pay COBRA Premiums, Extend Certain Other ERISA and Internal Revenue Code Deadlines Due to COVID-19

Please find below a link to the BAN Legal Alert on guidance and relief from the DOL, IRS and HHS for employee benefit plans and participants due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Most notable is that the guidance requires employers to extend the deadline for qualified beneficiaries to elect COBRA or pay COBRA premiums.
